Okay, so I didn’t buy as many CDs this year as last year. Optimo’s How To Kill The DJ and Jens Lekman’s Oh You’re So Silent Jens are great, and TV On The Radio’s Return To Cookie Mountain will probably top a lot of end-of-year lists (but not mine.)
I generally don’t figure out a year’s best until I scavenge all the lists and buy a few more albums, but I’m gonna go ahead and say that nothing’s going to knock Girl Talk’s Night Ripper out of the #1 spot. Dear Girl Talk: Thank you for being so, so, so wonderful.

The Max Planck Institute’s new logo, quite suitably, evolves using the rules of Conway’s Game of Life.
(edit: I didn’t read that post very well at all, did I? Shameful.)
Luke Stevens went ahead and posted popular news sites from around the world. I like that more homepages are doing the “If you scrolled this far, here’s a huge block of links to check out” thing. But WTF is up with Scandanavia? I want to see the results on that user test.
Long-revered French Paper have issued their own line of dinner plates. Drooling ensues.
