Where the Wild Things Are is a film adaptation of a Maurice Sendak picture book of the same name. The film will be directed by Spike Jonze and written by Dave Eggers.
Awesome. Although, of course, I’m more excited about things Charlie Kaufman is attached to:
Caden, (Phillip Seymour Hoffman) the main character, is a theatre director. He goes to the dentist and finds that there is something wrong with him. The precise nature of this is unknown. The movie goes into themes such as the nature of family, of home, and of male-female relationships. The movie begins to blur the nature of reality and representation.
Also, Netflix recommendation of the month is Comedians of Comedy. Netflix pan of the month is A Fish Called Wanda. Question to people who rate this movie five stars: ARE YOU HIGH?
I’m a little behind on some work for, well, work, but I’m putting it off tonight because I’m so exhausted. Hopefully, I’ll get to it Sunday night. Also, yay, Jenny is coming! And I saw Matt last week. It’s totally a 9-years-ago remember-fest.
