Web Discussion and Personal. |
Over the past two years, I’ve made a number of mistakes on this blog. Some required drastic action (the deletion of family-issues discussion), some simply evoked acute embarrassment later (letting romantic interests post creepy comments on entries). Some of the rest were more subtle, and I aim to correct them here. So without further introduction:
Lessons Learned From Mistakes Made, Chronologically
- Dane Cook is not very funny.
- Don’t talk badly about your boss on the internet.
- The Slate design’s actually not that great (although I still like the CSS touches)
- Reading AOL search results does not actually constitute a spiritual awakening.
- Dexter was a much better show than I thought possible.
- Always read the post carefully.
- Joanna Newsom was without doubt one of the best artists of 2006.
- Don’t plug services you STILL haven’t tried.
- Refrain from nerding out.
- Irony + Eternal Vows = Mistake.
