Some Eagle Scouts have returned their badges to protest what they see as the BSA’s discriminatory policies. The anti-discrimination group Scouting For All claims to have received as many as one thousand letters from Eagle Scouts who have done so; the BSA later stated that less than one hundred Eagle Scout badges have been returned.
