I’d been struggling with a set of embedded variables for the new Viget blogs for some time now, and had grown frustrated with my inability to embed them for Purposes Of Awesomeness (namely, embedding template group and weblog names so four blogs can feed off one set of template files).
Today, Megan pointed out that what I was doing was more than possible, but EE is finicky about which variables it allows, and gets upset when you try to re-use variable names. A simple fix and all was right again.
(I don’t entirely know what I’m talking about, but dammit, it works)
